The Geovision GV-BX520D is a 5 Megaixel IP (Network) camera capable of up to 10 frames per second at 2560 x 1920 resolution. It features full 2-way audio with a built in external microphone. The GV-BX520D has a 4.5 - 10mm varifocal megapixel lens and a 1/2.5" progressive scan CMOS image sensor. With its IR cut filter the GV-BX520D is capable of 0.5 lux in color and 0.1 lux in black and white mode.

Geovision includes many options to view your cameras remotely over a local network and also remotely over the Internet. Remote viewing is supported by both Windows and Mac based PCs. Geovision also includes support to view cameras from mobile devices including: iPhone, iPad, iPod Touch, Android, Blackberry, Windows Mobile, Symbian, and other 3G / 3GPP cell phones. Geovision provides free apps for all of these types of devices. Some remote viewing methods require use of the NVR software that is included with the camera and some methods can connect directly to the camera and do not require a PC.
